Company Registration
The process of company(Private Limited) registration in Nepal involves several steps. Here’s a comprehensive guide on how to register a company in Nepal:
Name Reservation.
Choose a Company Name,The name of the company should be unique and not similar to any existing business.
Prepare Documents.
Preparing Company’s Articles of Association (AOA) and Memorandum of Association (MOA),
Proof of identity and address of directors and shareholders (e.g., citizenship, passport, or government-issued ID).
Company Registration at OCR.
Submit all the necessary documents, including the application, MOA, AOA, and other required paperwork, to the Office of Company Registrar (OCR).
After approval, the OCR issues a Certificate of Incorporation.
Local ward Registration.
After registration of company in OCR. You need to register your business in your local ward.
Obtain the PAN (Permanent Account Number).
Apply for a PAN at the Inland Revenue Department (IRD).And if necessary register in VAT
Business License (Not necessary for all business)
Depending on the type of business, you may need to obtain additional licenses or permits from relevant regulatory authorities (e.g., Department of Food Technology and Quality Control, Tourism Department, etc.).
